Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder,John Obi Mikel, has added his voice to the Victor Moses transfer saga, saying that he would love to see his fellow Nigerian at Chelsea.

Chelsea have been in pursuit of Moses for the greater part of the transfer window, but the club is yet to meet Wigan Athletic’s valuation of Moses.

Mikel who was speaking to MTNFootball.com,said it will give him joy if Moses seals the move to Stamford Bridge.

“Victor Moses is a good player, we all saw what he did last season. I will gladly welcome him and make him feel at home if he comes here. ”

“It would be a good move for him and I am sure he will make it big here,”Mikel said.

Chelsea’s CEO Ron Gouraly, met Wigan’s chairman Dave Whelan, but the pair are yet to reach a deal for the transfer of Moses, to join the European Champions League winners.

Wigan are holding out for a final fee of 8.5 million pounds, but Chelsea does not want to scale 7.5 million pounds mark.

Victor Moses only has one year left on his contract at Wigan, and the club wants to get valuable cash on the Nigerian player, who played a pivotal role in helping them avoid relegation.
