Following his move to Chelsea,Nigeria’s Victor Moses would see an astronomical rise in his weekly wages from what he used to earn at Wigan Athletic.
Moses was previously earning 10,000 Pounds a week at Wigan, but will now earn 50,000 Pounds a week at Chelsea, five times more than what he was getting before,as was revealed by MTNFootball.com.
The 21-year old was unveiled by Chelsea, before the game against Newcastle after agreeing a five-year deal with the Champions League winners.
“I am glad that the transfer is finally settled. I am just happy that all parties are happy,” Moses said.
“It’s coincidental that my last game in a Wigan shirt was against Chelsea. But I must express my gratitude to Wigan for all the support and the fans I will miss them all.” Moses said.
Victor Moses is one of the eleven foreign-based players invited by coach Stephen Keshi, for the 2013 Nations Cup qualifiers against Liberia next month.
